Celebrate World Water Day by learning about some of our favorite aquatic friends—frogs! Discover the frogs and toads of the Calumet Region and their calls, and take a short walk to see if any froggy friends are out at the preserve.

Learn about the steps of banding and see birds in a unique way as Brad Bumgardner, Executive Director of Indiana Audubon Society, joins us for a bird banding demonstration. Limited seating available. More than 300 species of native plants are found at Gibson Woods, including a variety of rare and unique species. Join a park naturalist for a walk through the preserve to learn more about our native flora. Comfortable shoes and insect repellent are recommended.
